In most cases, your first contact with Wilkens c.s. is through one of our account managers. That account manager will usually become your regular contact person, so you always know who you are dealing with. Through this contact with you, the account manager will be able to ascertain your wishes and requirements for your projects.
Our account managers work at building long-term business relationships. This is the best way of getting to know your organisation well and fine-tuning our services to your specific requirements, such as language usage and style. This knowledge is documented in customer-specific style guides and terminology lists. Our translators and writers use this information as a guideline when they are working for you.
The project management department is the hub of our organisation. Assignment requests are passed on to project management by way of account management. The project manager then analyses the texts, decides on the project approach and provides the account manager with input so that the quote can be drawn up.
Once you have finally approved the order, the project manager selects the appropriate translators, sends out the texts to be translated and issues instructions to the translator(s) about the required terminology and style. During the translation process, the project manager monitors the progress of the translation. After the translation has been checked, the project manager delivers the translated texts to you.
